Terms

Plain terms.

Last updated October 12, 2026

These terms cover work with The Drop, a studio run by Gemix Productions LLC. In these terms, "I" and "me" mean The Drop and "you" means the person or business that hires me. By submitting an application, paying a deposit or using the service, you agree to them.

Payment and refunds

  1. Deposit and balance. The $197 deposit reserves your spot and starts the build. The $300 balance is due when you approve your preview, before the site goes live or your first Drop is delivered.
  2. Refund window. If you do not want to continue after seeing the preview, tell me in writing within 7 days of receiving it and I will refund your deposit. Writing means a reply to my email or a message through the form on the site.
  3. After the window. After those 7 days, the deposit is non-refundable, because the design and build work has been done.
  4. Silence. If I do not hear back from you within 14 days of sending the preview, the project closes and the deposit is kept.
  5. After approval. Once you have approved the preview and paid the balance, payments are non-refundable, because delivery has started.
  6. Chargebacks. Please contact me before filing a payment dispute so I can fix any problem first.

What you get and what I need

  1. Scope. The package covers a custom site, a store connected to your own Stripe account, and 12 ready-to-post pieces with captions and a posting order. The 7-day delivery period starts when your intake form, photos, music and links are complete.
  2. Revisions. Two rounds of revisions are included. Extra rounds are $50 each, or another fee we agree on first.
  3. Your content. You confirm that you own or have the rights to the music, photos and anything else you send me. I am not responsible for rights issues with material you supply.
  4. Tools I use. Some visuals are made with AI tools. I choose the tools and methods I use.

Ownership

  1. Preview. Before final payment, your preview is a private viewing link. It is not licensed for use, publishing or transfer.
  2. Your site. After final payment, you own the site's design and content as delivered. I keep the right to reuse my own tools, code and general layouts for other clients.
  3. Third-party services. Hosting, your domain, Stripe and form services run in your accounts and under their own terms and fees.
  4. Portfolio. I may show the finished site in my portfolio unless you tell me not to.

Monthly Drop

  1. Billing. The Monthly Drop is $147 a month, charged automatically and month to month through Stripe. You can cancel or pause before your next charge. The month you have already paid for is not refunded. The $1,470 yearly plan is non-refundable after 14 days.
  2. Founding rate. If you joined at the founding price, you keep the founding Monthly Drop rate for as long as your subscription stays active. Pausing is fine.

Limits

  1. No guarantees. I do not promise sales, followers or streams. The site and content are tools, and results depend on what you do with them.
  2. Liability. My responsibility to you is limited to the amount you have paid me.
  3. Law. New Jersey law applies, and disputes are handled in New Jersey.
